Rooms
Infants
Our infant room serves children ages six weeks - 12 months providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for babies to explore, learn, and grow.
Transition
The transition room is perfect for children 12 - 18 months and
is designed specifically for
this exciting age of exploring
newly acquired skills like climbing and walking.
Toddlers
The toddler room's curriculum of exploring and learning serves children 18 - 24 months. Our toddler teachers provide a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for toddlers to develop social skills, motor skills, and language abilities.
Twos
We focus on promoting physical and emotional growth through interactive play, story-telling, and other age-appropriate activities. The two-year-old room at KWECC is a fun and safe space designed to foster creativity and development.
Threes
Our experienced and caring teachers provide activities that encourage children to express themselves, build relationships, and develop their skills. The three-year old-room at KWECC is designed to foster learning and exploration in a safe and nurturing environment.
Fours
The four-year-old room at KWECC provides a safe and stimulating learning environment. Children are encouraged to interact with each other and participate in activities that help them build their independence, social and emotional skills, as well as their language and literacy.
School Age
At KWECC we offer summer camp for school-age children. Camp programming includes frequent field trips, arts and crafts, cooking, science, and sports activities. Children will have reading and journal time daily.
Our Mission
The mission of the Key West Early Childhood Center is to provide a safe, nurturing environment to young children. We strive to develop their cognitive, social/emotional, physical, language and aesthetic skills. Through guidance and instruction, our goal is to help children grow into caring responsible individuals and lifelong learners.
